These Terms form a legally binding agreement between CurricuLLM and users of our educational AI platform.
You must be at least 18 years old or have consent from an authorised school representative to use the Service.
If using on behalf of a school or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an Account.
You are responsible for all activity under your Account and must keep login credentials secure.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
We grant you a limited, revocable, non exclusive licence to access and use the Service for educational purposes.
You may display, download, and print AI generated content for classroom use.
Generated content remains your property, except that you grant us the licences described in section 6 so we can operate the Service and support sharing you choose.
Where you access the Service through an API or developer integration, API Use
API Access
You are granted a limited, revocable, non exclusive licence to access and use the API solely for lawful, educational, and authorised purposes.
Developer Accounts
API keys must only be used by the authorised individual or organisation that registered for API access.
You must keep keys secure and not share or resell access.
Curriculum Authority Permissions
Before accessing, storing, using, or redistributing curriculum content via the API, you must
Obtain all necessary permissions or licences from the relevant curriculum authority, and
Comply with the terms, attribution requirements, and usage restrictions imposed by that authority.
You are solely responsible for confirming that you hold valid rights to use any curriculum content in your application or workflow.
Use Limits and Monitoring
We may apply rate limits, usage restrictions, or suspend access where use appears excessive, abusive, or in breach of these Terms.
No Misrepresentation
You must not represent your application or service as being affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by CurricuLLM unless expressly authorised in writing.
Derivative or Competing Services
You must not use the API to develop models, datasets, or services that compete with or replicate functionality of CurricuLLM.
Educational and Compliance Obligations
Developers using the API in educational environments are responsible for ensuring
Appropriate data handling practices
Compliance with student privacy laws and school policies
Teacher review of AI generated content prior to student use
Audit
We may request evidence of curriculum licensing permission or compliance with this section. Failure to provide satisfactory evidence may result in suspension or termination.
You must not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the Service without permission.
No reverse engineering, decompiling, or using automated means to access the Service.
Cannot use the Service to develop competing products.
You must not upload, use, or share content that you do not have the rights to use, including copyrighted resources where your licence does not allow copying, adapting, or sharing.
Free Tier, offered with usage limits that may change. We may throttle excessive usage.
Paid Plans renew automatically unless cancelled. Prices are in AUD excluding taxes.
Refunds, all fees are non refundable except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit or upload.
You grant us a licence to host, store, and process your content to provide the Service.
We may create anonymised, aggregated data for analytics and improvement.
You are responsible for obtaining necessary consents for student data you provide.
6.2 Studio and Shared Studio Content
Studio is the part of the Service where you upload, create, edit, and export teaching and learning materials, including audio and video outputs.
If you choose to mark Studio content as suitable for students, or ok to share with other teachers, that content becomes Shared Studio Content.
6.3 Non exclusive reuse licence when you opt in
If you mark any Studio content as suitable for students or ok to share with other teachers, you give CurricuLLM a non exclusive, royalty free, worldwide licence to use that Shared Studio Content.
This licence allows us to
Host it, store it, and process it to run the Service.
Show it to other users inside CurricuLLM where sharing is enabled.
Include it in shared libraries, templates, examples, and galleries inside the Service.
Use it in product training and support materials, including guides and demos.
Review it for safety, quality, and compliance, including moderation and automated checks.
6.4 Turning sharing off
You can change your sharing selection later.
If you turn sharing off, we will stop using it for new sharing and new examples within a reasonable time.
Copies may remain where
Other users have already accessed, saved, or exported it.
It is stored in backups and logs.
It is required for legal, safety, or dispute reasons.
6.5 Your responsibility for rights and permissions
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights needed to upload, use, transform, and share any content you put into Studio.
This includes rights to text, worksheets, books, and articles.
Images, logos, diagrams, and illustrations.
Audio, music, sound effects, and voice recordings.
Video clips, animations, and recordings.
Any third party curriculum material you are not licensed to use.
If your content includes material owned by someone else, you must have a valid licence or permission that allows this use, including the use of AI tools to transform or generate outputs from it.
If you mark Studio content as suitable for students or ok to share with other teachers, you confirm you have the rights to share it in that way.
Our Privacy Policy governs data collection and use and forms part of these Terms.
You must comply with applicable privacy laws, including the Privacy Act 1988, and any school or system policies that apply to your use.
You must not violate any law, including child protection and data privacy laws.
No defamatory, obscene, hateful, or harmful content.
No harassment, threats, or attempts to harm others or systems.
Content rights promise
You promise that
You own your content or have permission to use it in the Service.
You have permission to share it if you choose sharing.
Your content does not infringe copyright or other rights.
If you share Studio content, you will remove student names and identifying details.
All intellectual property rights in the Service are owned by us or our licensors.
These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in our technology.
Use of CurricuLLM name or logos requires prior written permission.
AI generated content is based on curriculum documentation and other sources.
We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee full alignment with any jurisdiction's requirements.
Educators must review all content before classroom use.
Where curriculum content is accessed via the API, developers acknowledge that they are responsible for securing relevant permissions from curriculum owners or authorities and ensuring their implementation remains compliant with those obligations.
Service is provided as is and as available with no warranties.
No guarantee of uninterrupted or error free service or content accuracy.
You use the Service at your own risk.
Not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Total liability is limited to the greater of AUD 100 or the amount paid in the prior 12 months.
Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from
We may suspend or terminate access for Terms breaches or legal requirements.
You may cancel your subscription anytime via account settings.
Upon termination, your licence ends and we may delete content after reasonable retention.
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time with reasonable notice.
Notice may be provided via email or in product notification.
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
NSW courts have exclusive jurisdiction except where mandatory consumer laws apply.
