CurricuLLM includes built-in abuse filtering to block unsafe, harmful, or restricted questions before they are sent.
How it works
- If a message is blocked, CurricuLLM will show a notice: "Your message was blocked by content filter rules. If you believe this has been in error, please try again."
- The message will not be sent to the system, and no response will be generated.
- This applies to both teachers and students, to keep all conversations safe.
What to do if a message is blocked
- Check your wording → Sometimes a harmless question might trigger a filter because of a particular word or phrase. Rephrase it in a clearer or more neutral way.
- Stay curriculum-aligned → Keep questions linked to the subject and year level you are working on.
- Ask for help if needed → If you think a filter is being triggered incorrectly, let your school's administrator know so they can review settings.
Why this is important
Message filtering protects students, staff, and the school by ensuring that unsafe or inappropriate prompts never enter the system.
