3.8 Using Student Emulation

How to test student-facing responses as a teacher.

Teachers can mimic a student role to see how CurricuLLM will answer in class.

How it works

  • In the chat panel, click the Emulation button.
  • Pick the student role you want (like "Full Filtering", "No Filtering").
  • A new chat will open, locked to that role.
  • The chat will show in your history with a special icon.
  • Hover over the icon to see which role you picked.

Why this helps

  • Lets teachers test how questions are answered for different student levels.
  • Helps you plan lessons, guess student questions, and adjust teaching.
  • Makes sure the filters, tone, and questioning style for students work properly.
